functionally to: - Business Controller of sBu Sulfur Derivatives
Member of the regional business team (Plant manager, marketing manager and the controller).

Responsibilities

- Responsible for making a financial budget and financial rolling forecasts for the business.
- Send monthly, quarterly, yearly report about business to RBT and sBU controller.
- The report should be satisfactory with RBT and sBU. controller.
- Analyses variances to the budget and informs Regional Business team members and SBU controller.
Make suggestion of corrective action to RBT and sBU controller.
- Thioplast business Controller, is an active member of the Site management
and regional Business team and participates in relevant site staff meetings.
- Is together with the accounting manager responsible for the organization
of the accounting and financial administration duties in the plant and Shanghai,
in compliance with national and xxx requirements.
- Assists the Finance & Control in sBu for setting up and documenting
the AO and related IC geared to the needs of the business.
- Liaises primarily with logistics/warehousing, production, marketing,
maintenance and the others internally and externally
(including MCA plant in Taixing Site) for enhancing the business operation
- Linking pin to the Akzo Nobel Tax, legal and finance department in Shanghai
- Assists in the automation projects, Inventories and Production,
Budget and Control particularly in the domain under command of the Plant Manager.
- Executes the SLA agreement with MCA plant. Review SLA every year.

Requirement

- College / University degree majored in finance / accounting related
- Reasonable fluency both in written and oral in English and Chinese.
- Five years experience in controlling, finance and / or accounting
- Skills in supervisory and co-ordination
- Familiarity with SAP is an additional asset
- Familiarity with Windows / Office software
- Citizenship of Taixing or Shanghai and surrounding areas is of an advantage.
- Willing to travel between Shanghai and Taixing.
