Responsibility

- Fully integrated contributor to Business Line/Product Line(s) & SMT process
- Craft product value propositions understand product characteristics,
understand market needs, maintain product market price information
- Responsible for product-oriented market research, business intelligence/competitive
- Corporate/Divisional marketing liaison to product line/business line:
lead or participate in customer product demonstrations shows
and exhibits, clinics, etc
- Support customer sales team activities customer visits-preparing
and presenting product marketing/value proposition materials
to influence customer decisions, product/sales interface and product training.
- Enable product planning process (presentations market data, trends, analysis, etc)
- Lead/conduct competitive assessment activity
- Compile/collate market size and Delphi competitor market share
information (define "universe of opportunities") - maintain market share database
- Ensure Miller Heiman Funnel is full
- Provide guidance and coordination to regional product marketing
managers through weekly global business line product marketing
managers coordination conference to ensure alignment,
share results and action plans
- Participate in staff meeting with the director, worldwide marketing
- share business line product marketing activities results and action plans.

Requirement

- Five years experience in Marking/Product Planning
- Solid understanding of the products offered within a given product
line technology roadmap, market drivers, system dynamics
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities to enable competitive assessment,
market research, etc
- Vision - ability to see the big picture
- Maturity - ability and confidence to work several layers above level.
