Objectives

- Identifying and qualifying low cost, well performing suppliers
- Conducting supplier management and quality control
- Reporting directly to Production Manager

Responsibility

- Advise and collect product design/specs/volume/price from Becker business units
- Identify potential suppliers for assigned product category
- Conduct market tests and product biddings
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers to ensure adherence
to Becker product specification and quality
- Negotiate price and contract terms
- Close contract
- Conduct supplier on-site audits and resolve quality related problems
- Supervise logistics and shipping functions to ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate with Becker business units for order payments
- Evaluate performance of existing suppliers

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business
- Over 5 years in purchasing and supplier management
- Outstanding negotiating skills and analytical capability
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience of supplier quality procedure evaluation and on-site audits
- Good understanding of Chinese contractual law
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English,
