Responsibility

- Responsible in developing gasoline and diesel emission testing
capability to establish VEL laboratory as a world-class gasoline
/diesel emission system support center for Delphi.
- Responsible for performing Diesel VEL test operation including
preparation, driving, calibration of instruments/analyzers,
system maintenance and other routines.
- Perform various tests closely following procedures and review
test data for accuracy and quality. Drive manual and automatic
transmission diesel vehicles with consistent accuracy on computer
controlled dynamometer rollers.
- Responsible for test vehicle preparation for emission test
including components change, wire harness build and computer
system setup.
- Work closely with peers supporting teamwork.
- Assist in developing work procedures for consistent practices
and quality work in compliance with ISO9001(or QS9000).
- Follow written and verbal instructions.

Requirement

- Four(4) year technical college degree (or equivalent) in technical
field or equivalent technical training and experiences. (Required)
- Previous experience in testing operation of similar test laboratory
and broad knowledge about automobile emission measurement
and regulation. (Required) Diesel emission test experiences
are preferable. (Preferred)
- Good interpersonal skill within team as well as internal customers.
(Required)
- Willing to work unusual hours as needed including second shift
in the evening. (Required)
