Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performance Goals:
- Increase SSMC awareness through visual identity
- Management of web structure, contents & design
- Collaterals management
- Professional presentations
.
2. In-house Desktop Publishing:
- Establish in-house desktop publishing capability to do all designing in-house
- Produce quality printed materials and align designs with Siemens corporate standards
- Liaise and manage reliable print suppliers and compile to Siemens standards
- Manage logistic of stock inventory for all collaterals
- Handles visuals in different formats, liaise with suppliers and agencies to ensure quality
  and timeliness delivery. All prints must be proof-checked and sample prints must be run
  and approved before final execution

3. Web management:
- Develop web structure and message concept, create different portals for different
  target audience
- Ensure >95% accuracy in contents and timeliness in releasing news and information.
- Websites must be updated with latest news and page designs
- Provides creative use of internet/intranet as effective media
  for customers/employees interactions
- Draw programs to promote interactive use of web portals
- Provides recommendations to improvise web portals, and be interactive competitive
- Ensure websites are user-friendly
- Set measurements and tracking mechanism to measure effective use of media
- Manage internal and external suppliers and to ensure timeliness and quality
  of completed assignments
- Designs and contents must be compliance to Siemens corporate guidelines for interactive
  marketing via internet/intranet

4. Visual Identity:
- Set visual identity guidelines to govern SSMC image
- Manage internal and external visuals ie. posters, billboards, signage
- Manage web structure, contents & design for both internet & intranet
- Manage production of professional presentations & all printed materials
.
5. Media management:
- Understands China media networks and have good relationships with journalists
  from major printed and TV media.
- Capable to bring SSMC to the limelight of media, with regular articles being published.
- Capable of getting interviews with major media
- Manage press releases and consolidate all press clips
- Manage crisis and announcement to the public and employees
.
6. Editorial and contents management:
- Good journalism skills to write press releases (both in English & Chinese)
- Capable of writing different types of articles, ie press releases, newsletters, customer
  success stories, employees¡¯ stories, etc
- Track all success stories published and circulate press clips internally and report
  to headquarters
- Capable of conducting interviews and to write success stories.
- Capable of project manage e-newsletters contents for both external and internal
  audience and encourage article contribution from employees.
- Scan competitors and economic news that has impact on SSMC business and circulate
  to Senior Management and Munich HQ
- Liaise with SLC CC and Munich to leverage on forthcoming news and trends in English,
  adapted to China market for releases
.
7. Organizations of press events:
- Capable of holding press conference
- Good preparation work (ie press releases, media folders, FAQ, media confirmed list)
- Host press conference and capable of managing journalists questioning.
- Capable of briefing senior management what to say and what not and prepare them
  with FAQ (frequently asked questions).
- Capable to speak tactfully when handling crisis and capable to conduct Spokesman
  Training to Senior Management

8. Secondary Duties:
