Responsibilities: |
|
Identify
and Manage material productivity programs
and China sourcing projects: |
|
- |
Developing
an overall understanding of the material
productivity strategy and targets of their
business unit |
|
- |
Understanding
the component or product needs of user
locations by working with the
sourcing/purchasing/manufacturing/engineering
groups at the user factory/business |
|
- |
Understand
the critical characteristics and
requirements of the component and/or
assembly to be sourced from the respective
groups identified above |
|
- |
Understanding
the functional and approval requirements of
the final product |
|
- |
Gathering
and analyzing component or product specific
data required to source in China (prints,
specifications, inspections procedures,
material specifications, etc.) |
|
- |
Managing
the timely implementation of savings
projects by effectively using the Project
Tracking Tool (PTT) |
|
- |
Analyze
and report Savings (40%) |
|

|
Work
closely with Commodity, Technology, and
Logistics Teams to implement sourcing
projects by: |
|
- |
Working
with identified and qualified supply base to
leverage Corporate Spend |
|
- |
Working
with Quality and Technology team to ensure
timely qualification of component or
products |
|
- |
Working
with Logistics team to create a seamless
logistics solution to ensure timely
fulfillment of components and/or products to
user locations |
|
- |
Working
closely with CCS to identify additional year
over year savings to projects implemented |
|
|

|
| Working
closely with CCS to develop and then
monitor the executions of the terms
and conditions of the SGS LTAs (long
terms supply agreements) (40%) |

|

|
|

Performs
various reporting and projects as assigned
by Director and Business Units Managers

Requirements: |
|
- |
BA/BS
degree, MBA preferred |
|
- |
5-8
years of experience in Sourcing and
Purchasing with at least 2 years in
managerial capacity |
|
- |
English
and Chinese. Strong leadership, analytical,
and communication skills. High ethical
standards |
