Closely work with Design Engineering department & tooling supplier on all plastic, metal and die cast component designs |

Evaluate tooling quotes and monitor tool designing / manufacturing progress |

Evaluate all tooling concepts prior to construction to meet the program schedule & performance targets |

Address tools problems and provide trouble-shooting skills to correct problems |

Conduct tooling supplier surveys |

Some travel to assist quality and troubleshooting at the tooling supplier site |

Requirements: |
| - |
Higher Diploma or degree in Manufacturing |
| - |
Five years or more experience in tool design and project follow up, with a minimum 2 years machine shop experience like lathe, milling, EDM and tool fitting (must be familiar with tool shop and inspection equipment) |

Capable of doing mold design using AutoCAD, knowledge of other CAD/CAM softwares will be an advantage |
| - |
Must be strong in Technical Drawing, Fits & Tolerances, Materials, Heat Treatment, jigs & fixtures and plastics knowledge |

Fluent in English, willing to travel locally, good communication skills,
able to use Pro-E, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Project & E-mail |

Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility, should be willing to learn |

Mature and Sincere with good work ethics |

Must have (or obtain in near future), a working knowledge of Mandarin |
