Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

-	Identifies potential vendors for chemicals, packaging, components, etc.
-	Validates quality and oversees vendor compliance
-	Negotiates the price for components, ingredients, services and capital equipment
-	Communicate with overseas companies on purchasing issues on a daily basis
-	Manage vender relationships
-	Familiar with Import and Export procedures in China
-	Supervises, oversees, trains and evaluates the purchasing staff
-	Performs other duties as assigned or needed

Requirements:
-	Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
-	Over three years experience in purchasing fine chemicals and packaging materials  in major Foreign-funded companies in cosmetics and personal care industry is a plus
-	Experience in quality inspection and assuring vendor compliance with product specifications
-	Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
-	Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
-	Working knowledge of analytical techniques, business applications and negotiation skills
-	Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
